Analyse, understand and deal with situations of harassment
Better understand psychological and sexual harassment: what it is and what it isn't
Better identify the factors that trigger violence at work and the appearance and development of psychological and sexual harassment; to not confuse managing a difficult employee with harassment
Find out about the effects of harassment on the individual, the organisation and society
Better understand the motivations of the people involved: harasser, harassed, witnesses and their interactions
Plan prevention, action in the event of psychological or sexual harassment; to identify ways of dealing with difficult people
Be aware of the different preventive strategies
Review the various services available at the European Parliament in Brussels, Luxembourg and Strasbourg to prevent harassment

Course content includes:
The definition of harassment in the workplace; a multi-facetted concept
Learning to recognise its different forms: sexual, moral and psychological harassment
Detecting and dealing with cases of harassment in the workplace
Critical analysis of the psychological and behavioural profile of harassers and victims of harassment
Mediation
The role, function and responsibilities of persons of confidence appointed to deal with and prevent cases of harassment
Understanding of the role of each service in handling the harassment complaints
Individual and organisational strategies to prevent harassment
